Shaders

OpenGL

Working with Integrated Circles, a children’s interactive for the Cairo Museum. 2011

A sandy sea bed is projected upon the floor. The children use pretend hose-pipes to blow away the virtual sand to reveal the archeological artifacts beneath. Using infra-red LEDs on the end of the hoses, and an infra-red camera to track these LEDs, an interesting combination of openGL shaders to get the effect right.
